# Overview

Forms are a dynamic channel that empowers you to interact, engage in contextual conversations, and collect specific information from customers visiting your platform. They serve various purposes such as data collection, subscriptions, feedback, surveys, and more.

## Prerequisities

Before creating a form, integrate your E-commerce platform with Contlo. If your E-commerce platform has a pre-built Contlo integration, like Shopify, ensure your integration is live. Refer to the configurations for E-commerce platforms given below:

* **Shopify**: Active on-site tracking is enabled through Contlo's app embed.
* **WooCommerce**: Active on-site tracking is enabled through Contlo's app embed.
* **Custom store**: If your platform doesn’t have a pre-built Contlo integration, install Contlo on-site JavaScript by inserting a small code snippet on your site before starting. For more information, see [Custom Store](https://docs.superagi.com/docs/custom-store).
